SUMMARY
Seeking (1) part-time, live-out, experienced professional Housekeeper in San Diego to assist with the care and upkeep of two private residences located on the same street.
The position will initially consist of approximately 25 hours per week across 3 days, supporting both residences with detailed housekeeping, organization, laundry, household presentation, and occasional event support. The successful candidate should take genuine pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard and understand the level of care, discretion, and attention to detail expected within a high-net-worth private household.
The household operates around the changing schedules of multiple family members, making flexibility and adaptability essential. The Housekeeper will report directly to the House Manager and should be comfortable adjusting priorities throughout the day or week according to the needs of the household.
For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for the position to develop into a full-time role, which may include domestic and/or international travel with the Principal. Travel is not required for the initial part-time position, although openness to travel is highly valued for long-term growth within the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform detailed daily and routine cleaning throughout two private residences located on the same street.
Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, guest areas, and other household spaces to consistently high standards.
Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, sanitize, and care for household surfaces and furnishings using appropriate products and techniques.
Properly care for high-end finishes and materials, including furniture, stone, wood, glass, metals, upholstery, and rugs.
Handle household laundry, linens, towels, bedding, folding, ironing/steaming, and organization as needed.
Make beds and prepare guest rooms to a polished, hospitality-level standard.
Maintain organized closets, cabinets, household supplies, cleaning products, and storage areas.
Monitor household and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs to the House Manager.
Keep both residences consistently clean, organized, presentable, and ready for family members and guests.
Perform periodic deep cleaning and detailed housekeeping projects, particularly while the family is traveling or the residences are less occupied.
Respond professionally to changing household priorities and schedules.
Communicate with the House Manager regarding completed work, household needs, damages, maintenance concerns, and items requiring attention.
Work collaboratively with other household staff, chefs, vendors, and service professionals.
Assist with private dinners, parties, holidays, and other household events as needed.
Assist with pre-event cleaning, staging, organization, kitchen preparation, and preparation of guest areas.
During events, assist household staff and private chefs with maintaining kitchen and service areas, clearing, dishwashing, replenishing supplies, and keeping spaces orderly.
Assist with post-event breakdown and cleaning to return the residences to their normal standards.
Perform additional reasonable household duties as requested by the House Manager based on the needs of the family.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional housekeeping experience required; experience within a high-net-worth private residence, luxury estate, yacht, or five-star hospitality environment strongly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards for cleanliness and household presentation.
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and appropriate care of luxury household materials and finishes.
Strong laundry and linen-care skills preferred.
Must speak and understand English sufficiently to communicate clearly with the House Manager, principals, household staff, chefs, vendors, and guests and to understand written household instructions and product labels.
Highly reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and discreet.
Comfortable working within an occupied private residence while respecting the family's privacy and personal space.
Ability to work independently while also taking direction and functioning as part of a household team.
Proactive and observant, with the ability to recognize what requires attention without constant instruction.
Comfortable receiving feedback and adapting quickly to household preferences and changing priorities.
Flexible and willing to adjust to the schedules and needs of multiple family members.
Professional, calm, positive, and service-oriented demeanor.
Physically able to perform normal housekeeping responsibilities, including standing, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving throughout the residences during a shift.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Reliable transportation and ability to commute consistently are required.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is preferred for candidates interested in growing into the future full-time position.
