SUMMARY

Seeking (1) part-time, live-out, seasoned, professional housekeeper in San Diego with experience working in high-net-worth and ultra-high net-worth properties.  Must have knowledge and experience in the care and upkeep of high-end furniture, rugs, upholstery and wardrobe care.  Educated in the care and maintenance of various materials (fine woods, stones, metals, upholstery, silk rugs, curtains, windows, and floor care).  Wardrobe experience is ideal and preferred.  


-  Work Shifts:  2-3 Day per week Mon-Fri (not to exceed 30 hours per week)

-  Flexibility is required to work weekends/evenings as needed for the purpose of hosting guests and working private events.

-Salary:  $39-40/Hr. Willing to negotiate based on exceptionally experienced candidates.

-  No travel is required. 

 

Active household -- family of six (husband, wife, 2 boys & 1 large male dog (Cane Corso). 

Extended family relatives are known to often stay at the home throughout the year during visits.  

Staffed Home:  Estate Manager, 2 House Keepers, 2 Nannies and PT Chef.


Home Size:  11,545 sq. ft. (7 common areas / 6 bedrooms / 8 bathrooms / guest house / pool / spa)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily routine cleaning duties throughout entire home interior and exterior areas:  pool & spa decks; terraces of main and guest houses. 

  • Maintain all floors/carpets/rugs:  sweep, scrub, vacuum, mop & polish.

  • Maintain furniture & upholstery.

  • Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms & common areas of main home and guest house.

  • Wash dishes & appliances.

  • Load/unload dishwashers.

  • Maintain Principal’s wardrobes:  laundry & dry cleaning of principals, family members &  guests.

  • Keep home edited of debris & clutter – home should be set & staged always for guests & entertaining.

  • Scheduled deep cleanings of interior household (upholstery, appliances and fixtures) as required during family travels.

  • Assist during holidays and private events as needed.

  • Assist during guest stays and host as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Housekeeping experience in high-profile, multi-million-dollar private residences or 5-Star luxury hotels

  • A dynamic and flexible candidate with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Wardrobe experience a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of eco-friendly, organic & all-natural cleaning products & cleaning methods.

  • Experience in the care of high-end furniture, carpets & rugs, stone, marble, metals & wood materials

  • Formal dining experience.

  • Strong laundress experience.

  • A liking for families with young children and the ability to relate in a patient and professional manner.

  • Must love animals.  Will be responsible for caring for the family pets.

  • A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of house keeping while maintaining the needs and wishes of the residents.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work schedules.

  • Good communication skills.

  • The ability to work as part of a team and to promote harmonious working relationships
