SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support the daily operations of a beautifully maintained private residence in Rancho Santa Fe. This is a 6-month position to provide support while the family is in residence. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and enjoys creating a warm, well-organized environment.
The role also involves supporting special projects and additional household tasks as needed.
Occasional travel with the family is part of the position.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Perform daily routine cleaning duties throughout all the home's areas
Maintain furniture & upholstery
Assist the principal with personal tasks, daily routines, and home management
Prepare and serve meals, ranging from casual to formal occasions
Run errands, manage household supplies, and coordinate with vendors and service providers
Provide thoughtful companionship and support when needed
Travel occasionally with the principal as requested
Wash dishes & appliances
Keep home edited of debris & clutter.
Can show flexibility and go the extra mile when needed to get the job done.
Has deep knowledge and experience in the care of fine finishing’s, special. surfaces and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques.
Understands clearly which cleaning products work and which ones are not appropriate.
Able to respond to requests timely and follow through until completed.
Can graciously accept feedback and apply lessons learned.
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in private households, hospitality, or high-end service environments
Must be be able to speak English.
Excellent verbal references required from both current and previous employers.
Comfortable around pets.
Willing to travel on occasion.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Flexibility to work weekends and additional hours as needed.
Must agree to and pass a thorough background and reference check.
Must be legally able to work in the United States.
Experience in the care of high-end furniture, carpets & rugs, stone, marble, metals & wood materials.
A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of house keeping while maintaining the needs and wishes of the residents.
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work schedules.
Good communication skills.
