SUMMARY
A private family in La Jolla seeks a professional, detail-oriented Mother's helper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment while providing attentive and nurturing care to three young children, ages five (5), three (3), and two (2).
The ideal candidate understands the dynamics of a busy household and can balance both household upkeep and childcare with warmth, efficiency, and discretion. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and organization, laundry and wardrobe care, light meal preparation for the children, and maintaining a tidy and safe play environment.
A successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a genuine love for children. Experience in both housekeeping and childcare is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Perform daily routine cleaning duties throughout all the home's areas
Maintain furniture & upholstery
Wash dishes & appliances.
Handle laundry and dry cleaning
Keep home edited of debris & clutter.
Can show flexibility and go the extra mile when needed to get the job done.
Has deep knowledge and experience in the care of fine finishing’s, special. surfaces and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques.
Understands clearly which cleaning products work and which ones are not appropriate.
Able to respond to requests timely and follow through until completed.
Can graciously accept feedback and apply lessons learned.
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be be able to speak English.
Excellent verbal references required from both current and previous employers.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Must agree to and pass a thorough background and reference check.
Must be legally able to work in the United States.
Experience in the care of high-end furniture, carpets & rugs, stone, marble, metals & wood materials.
A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of house keeping while maintaining the needs and wishes of the family.
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work schedules.
Good communication skills.
